The table tennis racket, or paddle, must be made of wood and covered with rubber on both sides. The ball must be 40mm in diameter and made of celluloid or a similar plastic material. The table should be 2.74m long, 1.525m wide, and 0.76m high.

6. Let Rule

If a point is interrupted by something outside the players' control, such as a ball coming from another table, a "let" is called, and the point is replayed.

7. Code of Conduct

Players are expected to conduct themselves with sportsmanship and fair play. Any unsportsmanlike conduct, such as using offensive language or gestures, can result in penalties or disqualification.

8. Umpire Decisions

During a match, an umpire oversees the game and makes decisions on points, rules, and conduct. Players can appeal the umpire's decisions, but the umpire's decision is final.
